Bitcoin Blitz Now Posts Highscores Directly to Nostr
Noderunners Bitcoin Blitz (Arcade Game)

Bitcoin Blitz now broadcasts player highscores straight onto the Nostr network, complete with character quotes, medals, and HD sprite thumbnails. No accounts, no platforms, no gatekeepers. Just pure, sovereign gaming stats posted to an open social protocol.
The Highscore Board Goes Permissionless
Highscores have always been a badge of honor in arcade games, snapshots of skill, dedication, and (sometimes) pure luck. But traditional leaderboards live inside walled gardens. They can be censored, deleted, or lost the moment a platform disappears.
Bitcoin Blitz now breaks out of that model by pushing highscores directly to Nostr, the decentralized, censorship-resistant social protocol built on public/private key signing.
Whenever a player finishes a run and lands a top score, the game automatically:
-
🥇 Determines whether the score qualifies
-
🧩 Grabs character metadata dynamically
-
💬 Selects a random in-character quote
-
🖼️ Crops a 512px HD sprite thumbnail
-
🔏 Signs the event using NIP-01
-
🚀 Broadcasts it to multiple Nostr relays
The result? Each highscore becomes a permanent, verifiable event on an open network, not just a number on a local leaderboard.
